Responsibilities:

Develop and implement AI governance policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations
Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits to identify potential ethical and legal issues related to AI usage
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that AI systems are designed, developed, and deployed in a responsible and transparent manner
Stay up-to-date with emerging AI technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for their implementation
Train and educate staff on AI governance best practices and compliance requirements
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure that AI systems adhere to all relevant laws and regulations
Monitor and evaluate the ethical implications of AI systems in use and make recommendations for improvement as needed
Serve as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including government agencies and industry organizations, to promote ethical AI practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI governance, ethics, or compliance
Strong understanding of AI technologies and their potential impact on society
Excellent knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to AI governance
Proven track record of developing and implementing AI governance policies and procedures
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential risks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
