Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of data engineers in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions to support business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
Monitor and improve the performance and scalability of data systems.
Identify and implement data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and incorporate them into our processes.
Mentor and train junior team members to foster their technical and professional growth.
Work closely with the Data Science team to support their data needs and ensure smooth integration of data engineering solutions.
Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless data integration and delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 1 year of experience in a leadership or management role.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Hands-on experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
