Key Responsibilities:

Lead the data engineering team in the development and implementation of data solutions, ensuring high quality, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain data engineering standards, best practices, and processes to ensure efficiency and consistency across projects.
Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
Stay updated on the latest data engineering technologies and tools and make recommendations for their implementation.
Oversee the performance and maintenance of data systems to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to provide updates on project status, issues, and risks.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong technical expertise in data engineering technologies such as SQL, ETL, Hadoop, and data warehousing.
Experience managing large data sets and developing data pipelines.
Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Proven track record of delivering data solutions on time and within budget.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
