Job Title: UX Engineer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $152000 - $192000
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a UX Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing user-friendly interfaces for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our digital solutions are intuitive, visually appealing, and meet the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our design team to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas
- Translate wireframes and mockups into high-fidelity interactive prototypes using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
- Analyze user feedback and behavior to continuously improve the user experience
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products and platforms
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design and front-end code
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in UX design and front-end development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UX Engineer or similar role
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with design software such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Knowledge of user research and testing methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
