Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, QA, product management, and project management to plan and coordinate software releases.
Develop and maintain release plans, schedules, and timelines.
Manage the release process, ensuring that all dependencies and risks are identified and addressed.
Coordinate with development teams to ensure that all code changes are properly integrated and tested.
Conduct release readiness reviews and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the release process.
Manage and maintain release documentation and artifacts.
Continuously improve the release process by implementing best practices and tools.
Monitor and communicate release status and progress to stakeholders.
Participate in post-release activities, including conducting post-release reviews and obtaining feedback from customers.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate the release process and improve deployment processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software release engineering role.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and release processes.
Experience with release management tools and processes.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Experience with build and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins.
Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
