Position: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the cloud infrastructure for our organization. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, infrastructure architecture, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the cloud infrastructure for our organization, including compute, storage, networking, and security components
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand their requirements and design solutions that meet their needs
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of our cloud infrastructure
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development and operations teams
• Work with vendors and service providers to evaluate and implement new cloud services
• Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
• Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Lead projects related to cloud infrastructure and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Mentor and train junior team members on cloud infrastructure best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing, infrastructure architecture, and project management
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Experience with public cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• In-depth knowledge of virtualization, networking, and storage technologies
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
