Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $92 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our systems and networks, as well as providing support to our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software
• Manage and monitor network performance, security, and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network connectivity
• Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested
• Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement new technologies and systems to improve efficiency and productivity
• Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions to meet the company's changing needs
• Provide technical support to employees and clients, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
• Create and maintain documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation
• Ensure adherence to IT security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT equipment and services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management
• In-depth knowledge of network architecture, hardware, and software systems
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMWare or Hyper-V
• Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and priorities
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, MCSE, or ITIL, are a plus.
