Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data migration strategies and plans for our clients based on their business requirements and technical environment
Perform data mapping and transformation to ensure accurate and efficient migration of data from source systems to target systems
Develop and maintain data migration scripts and tools to automate the migration process
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and quality assurance to ensure successful data migration
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the data migration process
Perform data quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of migrated data
Document data migration processes, procedures, and best practices for future reference
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data migration technologies and techniques
Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the data migration process
Continuously monitor and improve data migration processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in data migration, ETL, or data integration
Strong knowledge of data migration tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
Proficient in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Perl
Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
