Salary: $152000 - $192000

As a Firmware Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing firmware solutions for our products. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test embedded firmware for new and existing products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure firmware specifications are met
• Analyze and troubleshoot firmware-related issues and provide timely solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation for firmware designs and updates
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
• Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve firmware development processes
• Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and firmware
• Collaborate with quality assurance team to ensure firmware meets quality standards
• Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded systems and firmware development
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming language
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and Ethernet
• Familiarity with hardware design and schematic interpretation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience with firmware development for microcontrollers and microprocessors
• Knowledge of wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Prior experience in the consumer electronics industry
