As a Data Processing Engineer at Lobox, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our data processing systems. You will work closely with our data scientists and analysts to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our data processing operations. You will also play a key role in implementing new processes and technologies to improve our data processing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform large volumes of data from various sources.
• Monitor data processing systems to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors that arise in the data processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and design efficient solutions.
• Optimize data processing workflows for scalability and performance.
• Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and tools in data processing and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Document data processing procedures and provide training to other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data processing/engineering roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.
• Experience with data processing tools and frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data modeling.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
