About the Role: We are seeking an experienced IT Configuration Manager to join our dynamic team. As the IT Configuration Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the configuration of our company's IT systems. Your responsibility will be to ensure that all IT systems are configured and maintained in line with industry best practices and company standards. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes to manage changes to configurations and ensure the integrity of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain IT configuration management policies, procedures, and standards.
• Oversee the configuration of all IT systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Design and implement processes to manage changes to configurations, including testing, approval, and documentation.
• Ensure that all configurations are up-to-date and in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Monitor and track configuration changes to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all changes to configurations are properly planned and tested.
• Conduct regular audits of IT systems to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and standards.
• Provide regular reports to management on the status of configuration management and any identified risks or issues.
• Train and mentor junior members of the IT team on configuration management processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices and standards for configuration management.
• Experience with configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
