Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. As the IT Security Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies and protocols to protect our company's information systems, networks, and data from potential threats. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall security of our organization and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an overall security strategy for the organization, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and manage security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security protocols are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, including conducting investigations and implementing remedial actions.
• Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and consultants.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization's ability to respond to and recover from security incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
• Experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Familiarity with network and system administration, including Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
• Experience in a regulated industry, such as healthcare or finance, is a plus.
