Salary: $171000 - $208000

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Platform Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud-based platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of our cloud services and applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying ahead of the latest industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our cloud-based platforms, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify the best solutions for our cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies, including security, cost optimization, and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues related to the cloud platform, ensuring timely resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices for cloud platform development and maintenance.
• Manage relationships with cloud service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Develop and maintain documentation for the cloud platform, including architecture, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud platform development and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing cloud architecture strategies.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, such as Jenkins or Git.
• Certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus.
