Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT Operations Consultant to join our team. As an IT Operations Consultant, you will play a critical role in our organization by providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of IT operations. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT operations strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient functioning of our company's IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any IT infrastructure issues or inefficiencies.
• Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of our company's IT systems, networks, and applications.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline IT operations and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of our company's IT infrastructure to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams and end-users to resolve any IT infrastructure-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT operations and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance our company's IT infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the uninterrupted operation of our IT systems in the event of a disruption.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of IT services and equipment.
• Create and maintain documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference and training purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and applications.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies and virtualization.
• Proficient in ITIL framework and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing IT operations strategies and policies.
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
