Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Governance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an IT Governance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management and governance of our organization's IT systems and processes. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust governance framework that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. This is a key role that requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT governance policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure the efficient and effective use of technology across the organization.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of IT governance processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Provide guidance and support to IT teams on governance-related matters, including risk management, compliance, and security.
• Monitor and report on the performance of IT systems and processes, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
• Lead the development and maintenance of an IT risk management framework, including risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the organization's IT governance practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, or ISO 27001.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining IT governance processes in a complex organization.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
