Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of application developers and provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their growth and development.
Manage the design, development, and maintenance of various applications, including but not limited to web-based, mobile, and desktop applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for application development projects.
Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Monitor and track application performance and provide solutions to any issues that arise.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in application development and implement them in our company's applications.
Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality applications that meet business requirements and exceed user expectations.
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support the development of applications.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members on their performance.
Identify areas for improvement in the application development process and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of years of experience in application development, with at least years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Extensive experience in developing web-based, mobile, and desktop applications using programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python.
Proficient in database management and design, with experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
