Position: Cloud Network Specialist Lead

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Lobox is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Network Specialist Lead to join our dynamic team. As a leader in the industry, we are committed to providing innovative solutions to our clients and we are seeking an individual who shares our passion for excellence.

As the Cloud Network Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure in our cloud environment. You will also be responsible for leading a team of network specialists to ensure the smooth operation of our network and to provide technical guidance and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure in our cloud environment, including but not limited to virtual private networks, firewalls, load balancers, and routing protocols.
• Work closely with the cloud engineering team to ensure the seamless integration of network infrastructure with other cloud services.
• Lead a team of network specialists, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the network.
• Plan and implement network security measures to protect the company's data and systems from cyber threats.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for network infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for the adoption of new tools and techniques to improve network performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a cloud environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts and experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including but not limited to virtual private networks, firewalls, load balancers, and routing protocols.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Experience with network security and the implementation of security measures to protect against cyber threats.
• Knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools is a plus.
