Job Overview: As the IT Specialist Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our IT department, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all IT systems and processes. You will lead a team of IT specialists and work closely with the CIO to develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of IT specialists, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of all IT systems.
• Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of all hardware, software, and networking equipment.
• Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide recommendations for technological solutions.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the company's IT capabilities.
• Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented and adhered to.
• Conduct regular training and workshops for employees to enhance their IT skills and knowledge.
• Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
• Conduct performance evaluations for team members and provide constructive feedback to improve their performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a strong background in leading a team.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are highly desirable.
