Job Title: Cloud Security Architect

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security architecture for our cloud-based systems. You will work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to ensure the security of our cloud infrastructure and applications. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, security best practices, and the ability to balance security with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security architecture for our cloud-based systems, including infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies for our cloud environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that security is integrated into the development and deployment processes.
• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, and develop and implement response plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices.
• Lead security audits and assessments, and implement any necessary remediation.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on security best practices.
• Conduct security training and awareness sessions for employees.
• Work with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of our cloud environment.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of security tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and engineering.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with cloud security tools and technologies such as IAM, WAF, IDS/IPS, encryption, and SIEM.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Experience with security compliance and audit processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CCSK are a plus.
