Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $100 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with our development team to design, develop, and execute effective test plans and strategies, ensuring a smooth and efficient testing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for new software features and products
• Identify and report software defects and track them to resolution
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing
• Continuously improve and maintain automated test suites
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality of software
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing
• Provide timely and accurate status updates on testing progress and issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality software products
