Job Title: IT Monitoring Lead

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $190000 - $240000

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Monitoring Lead to join our growing team. As the IT Monitoring Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring of our company's IT systems and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our IT systems and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT monitoring tools and techniques, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an IT monitoring strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
• Lead a team of IT monitoring specialists to ensure that all systems and services are monitored effectively and efficiently.
• Regularly review and analyze monitoring data to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve any detected issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT monitoring processes and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in IT monitoring tools and technologies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure access to the latest tools and resources.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure their continued growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT monitoring, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of IT monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds.
• Knowledge of networking, databases, and operating systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud-based monitoring solutions is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus.
