Position: Cyber Defense Specialist Lead

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Defense Specialist Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Cyber Defense Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our cyber defense operations, ensuring the protection of our company's critical assets and data. This position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, advanced technical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of cyber defense specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of cyber defense specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of cyber defense operations
• Develop and implement strategies to proactively detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats
• Conduct regular assessments of our systems and networks to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and controls to protect our systems and data
• Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to identify and respond to potential security incidents
• Conduct investigations and forensic analysis of security incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for remediation
• Keep up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends to continuously improve our cyber defense strategies and processes
• Develop and maintain cyber defense policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for employees to promote a culture of security and ensure adherence to security protocols
• Act as a subject matter expert for all cyber defense related matters, providing guidance and recommendations to senior management as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cyber defense role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices
• Experience with various security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other industry-recognized certifications are preferred
