Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Policy Specialist Lead to join our dynamic team. As the IT Policy Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will lead a team of IT policy specialists and collaborate with various departments to assess and improve our IT policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and industry standards.
• Lead a team of IT policy specialists and oversee their day-to-day activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve IT policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with policies and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze and interpret regulations and make appropriate recommendations for policy updates.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations and make necessary changes to policies.
• Train employees on IT policies and procedures and ensure their understanding and compliance.
• Monitor and track policy violations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all IT policies and procedures.
• Communicate policy updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in IT policy-related meetings and provide expert insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT policy development and implementation.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus.
