Job Title: Cloud Systems Specialist

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $123 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the cloud environment
• Ensure data security and privacy in the cloud by implementing proper security measures
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy and manage applications on the cloud
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud systems and processes
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for the cloud environment
• Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning for the cloud infrastructure
• Provide support to end-users and assist with any cloud-related queries or issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing principles and technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus

Working Conditions:

• This is a full-time position, with occasional after-hours and weekend work required for system maintenance and upgrades
