Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Edge Computing Lead Architect to join our dynamic team. As the Edge Computing Lead Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of edge computing solutions for our company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of cutting-edge edge computing solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement edge computing strategies, including identifying business requirements and defining technical specifications.
• Lead the design and development of scalable and reliable edge computing solutions that align with our company's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of edge computing solutions.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in edge computing technology, and make recommendations for the adoption of new tools and techniques.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team members, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of edge computing solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and user guides.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the edge computing solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development and implementation of edge computing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards in all edge computing solutions.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and integrate their solutions into our edge computing environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing edge computing solutions.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of edge computing principles, architectures, and technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms, such as AWS Greengrass, Microsoft Azure IoT Edge, or Google Cloud IoT Edge.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
