Job Title: Data Systems Analyst
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $100 Per hour
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing data systems solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for utilizing data to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough analysis of current data systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Designing and implementing data systems solutions to improve data quality, accessibility, and scalability
- Developing and maintaining data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and other documentation to support data systems
- Conducting data audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
- Identifying and troubleshooting data quality issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Collaborating with IT teams to ensure data systems are properly integrated and aligned with overall IT strategy
- Utilizing SQL and other programming languages to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
- Developing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management and analytics
- Providing training and support to end-users on data systems and tools
- Participating in the testing and implementation of new data systems and upgrades
- Performing data analysis and presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Continuously monitoring and optimizing data systems performance to ensure efficient and effective data management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor���s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, analysis, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and other programming languages
- Experience with database design, data warehousing, and data modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus
