Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data solutions using various big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Collaborate with data scientists and data analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Create and maintain data pipelines to process, transform, and store large volumes of data from multiple sources.
Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
Keep up-to-date with emerging big data technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs.
Develop and maintain documentation for data solutions, including data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of years of experience as a Big Data Solutions Engineer or a similar role.
Strong experience in designing and implementing big data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
