About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Big Data Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Big Data Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing our big data projects from inception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of big data technologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage big data projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
• Design and develop big data solutions using various technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and identify key deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and implement necessary improvements to optimize performance and maintainability.
• Stay updated with the latest big data technologies and tools, and recommend their adoption to enhance our data capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to big data systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all big data projects, including data flow diagrams, technical specifications, and user manuals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in big data development and architecture.
• Strong proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in designing and developing big data solutions for large-scale data processing.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes is a plus.
• Certifications in big data technologies would be an advantage.
