Position: Software Testing Lead

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $115 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Software Testing Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Software Testing Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the software testing process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products to our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software testing, as well as exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the software testing process from planning to execution.
• Develop and implement software testing strategies and methodologies.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Identify and report software defects and track them to resolution.
• Manage and mentor a team of software testers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
• Continuously improve the software testing process by incorporating industry best practices and new tools and technologies.
• Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and clients.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of software testers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
• ISTQB or other software testing certifications are a plus.
