Salary: $247000 - $320000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Engineer Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Cloud Platform Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud platform infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based applications and services. This is a senior-level position, and we are looking for candidates who have a strong background in cloud computing, DevOps, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our cloud platform infrastructure to support our applications and services in a highly available and secure manner.
• Lead a team of cloud platform engineers and guide them in developing and implementing best practices for cloud infrastructure management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and security engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation tools for deploying, monitoring, and managing our cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to the performance, availability, and security of our cloud services.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud computing and continuously evaluate and incorporate new technologies and practices into our cloud platform.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, and conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
• Participate in on-call rotation and handle critical incidents related to our cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cloud engineering role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior-level position.
• Strong expertise in public cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and hands-on experience with related services, such as EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and configuration management.
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with network security and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive them to resolution.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in mentoring and managing a team of engineers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
