Position Title: Machine Vision Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Vision Specialist to join our team. As a Machine Vision Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine vision systems to support our company's operations. This role requires a deep understanding of computer vision techniques, hardware and software integration, and experience with various machine learning algorithms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop machine vision systems and algorithms for object detection, recognition, and tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Identify potential challenges and propose innovative solutions to improve the performance of existing machine vision systems.
• Conduct research and experiment with new machine learning techniques and algorithms to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our systems.
• Integrate machine vision systems with hardware and software components, such as cameras, sensors, and robotic arms.
• Develop and maintain documentation for machine vision systems, including code, algorithms, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with machine vision systems, and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine vision technology and incorporate them into our systems to stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and implementing machine vision systems.
• Strong understanding of computer vision techniques, such as image processing, feature extraction, and object recognition.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, such as Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), and Support Vector Machines (SVMs).
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.
• Experience with hardware and software integration, including cameras, sensors, and robotic arms.
• Knowledge of 3D vision and point-cloud processing is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
