Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire data migration process from start to finish, ensuring quality and accuracy of data
Lead a team of data migration specialists and provide guidance and support as needed
Develop and implement data migration strategies and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure smooth data transfer
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the data migration process
Monitor and track data migration progress, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders
Create and maintain documentation of data migration processes and procedures
Train and mentor team members on data migration techniques and tools
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data migration technology
Continuously improve data migration processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations throughout the migration process
Communicate with clients to understand their data needs and address any concerns or issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
5+ years of experience in data migration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Extensive knowledge of data migration tools and techniques
Experience with database management and SQL queries
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven leadership and team management skills
