Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Platform Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and protocols to protect our organization's platform from cyber threats. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential security risks and provide solutions to mitigate them. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to safeguard the organization's platform.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security requirements and implement solutions.
• Monitor security systems and tools, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement.

• Create and maintain documentation related to security procedures and policies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in platform security.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, network and web-related protocols, and encryption techniques.
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with security compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
