Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Defense Architect Lead to join our team. As the Cyber Defense Architect Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall cyber defense architecture for our company. You will also lead a team of cyber defense architects and work closely with other members of our IT and security teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a robust and comprehensive cyber defense architecture that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
• Lead a team of cyber defense architects, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Collaborate with other members of the IT and security teams to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of our systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to effectively respond to cyber threats and attacks.
• Stay current with emerging cyber threats and trends, and make necessary adjustments to our defense architecture.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other teams within the organization, including development, infrastructure, and operations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cyber defense architecture and provide recommendations for improving our security posture.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new security tools and technologies to enhance our defense capabilities.
• Mentor and coach junior members of the team to promote professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cyber security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
• Experience designing and implementing complex cyber defense architectures.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team.
• In-depth understanding of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC, are preferred.
