About the role: As a Data Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of all data operations within our company. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of our data systems and processes, ensuring their accuracy, completeness, and consistency. You will be responsible for managing a team of data analysts and coordinators, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform their tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of data operations, including data entry, data quality control, data cleansing, and data management processes.
• Develop and implement data management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Monitor and analyze data quality metrics and take corrective actions as needed to maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, sales, and finance, to identify data needs and requirements.
• Lead the development and implementation of data governance strategies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and data privacy laws.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and other documentation to support data governance and data management processes.
• Conduct regular audits of data systems and processes to identify and mitigate any potential data quality issues.
• Develop and implement data quality training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of data quality standards and best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management and make recommendations for improvement.
• Manage and mentor a team of data analysts and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data operations or data management.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data quality.
• Experience with data management tools and systems, such as SQL, MongoDB, and Hadoop.
• Proven experience in managing a team and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and data privacy laws is a plus.
