Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop edge computing solutions to support our business needs.
Implement and maintain edge computing infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Continuously monitor and optimize the edge infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to edge computing.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in the edge computing space.
Conduct regular performance testing and capacity planning to identify areas for improvement.
Document and maintain detailed technical specifications and operational procedures.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in edge computing or a similar role.
Strong understanding of cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
Extensive knowledge of edge computing concepts and architectures.
Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms such as AWS IoT Greengrass, Microsoft Azure IoT Edge, or Google Cloud IoT Edge.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with network protocols and security principles.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
