Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design edge computing solutions that meet those requirements.
Develop and implement edge computing software and applications using languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
Utilize cloud computing platforms to deploy edge computing solutions and ensure scalability and reliability.
Integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms into edge computing solutions.
Perform system and software testing to ensure the functionality and performance of edge computing solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in edge computing systems and provide timely resolutions.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in edge computing and incorporate them into our solutions.
Ensure the security and privacy of data in edge computing systems through encryption and other security measures.
Document and maintain technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant documentation for edge computing solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing edge computing solutions.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms.
Experience with edge computing frameworks, such as Apache Edgent or Eclipse Kura.
Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, MQTT, and 5G.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
