Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Game Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Game Designer, you will have the opportunity to use your passion for gaming to help create exciting and engaging games that will captivate players. You will work closely with our development team to design and implement game mechanics, levels, characters, and other elements that will bring our games to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of game design principles and be able to think outside the box to come up with innovative ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement game mechanics, levels, and other game elements
• Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including game design documents, level design documents, and feature specifications
• Conduct research and gather feedback to ensure that game design elements are in line with player expectations and industry trends
• Balance gameplay elements to ensure a fun and challenging experience for players
• Conceptualize and design new game features and mechanics that will enhance the overall gameplay experience
• Work closely with the art team to ensure that game design elements are visually appealing and consistent with the game's overall theme
• Playtest and provide feedback on game builds to identify and address any design issues
• Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm new game ideas and provide input on game concepts
• Stay up-to-date with the latest gaming trends and technologies to continuously improve and innovate our games

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Game Designer in the gaming industry
• Strong understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and theories
• Solid knowledge of game engines and development tools, such as Unity or Unreal Engine
• Proficiency in using design software, such as Photoshop or Illustrator
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of the gaming market and player preferences
• Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative ideas
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback
• A portfolio that showcases your previous game design work is a plus
