Salary: $114000 - $144000

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounts receivable processes. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and reconcile customer payments to appropriate accounts
• Review and analyze customer accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and answer any billing inquiries
• Prepare and send out customer invoices and statements
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on past due accounts
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions
• Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports to identify trends and potential issues
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable
• Participate in departmental meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions
• Continuously review and improve accounts receivable processes to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with customer service and collections is a plus
