Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and develop new textile designs that align with our brand's aesthetic and target market
Research current and upcoming trends in fashion and home d��cor to inform design decisions and stay ahead of the curve
Create detailed design sketches and technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
Select appropriate materials and techniques for each design, considering factors such as durability, cost, and sustainability
Work closely with suppliers to source and test materials, ensuring quality and consistency in production
Attend trade shows and maintain relationships with vendors to stay updated on new materials, techniques, and industry developments
Review and approve samples and production runs to ensure designs are accurately translated into finished products
Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any design-related issues during the manufacturing process
Maintain organized records of all designs, materials, and production processes for reference and future use
Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate our products, while also meeting deadlines and production schedules

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
3+ years of experience in textile design, preferably in the fashion or home goods industry
Proficient in CAD software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Strong understanding of fabrics, printing techniques, and manufacturing processes
Excellent eye for color, pattern, and texture
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences
A portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity is required
