Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans for art classes based on age, skill level, and interests of students
Teach students various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art
Provide demonstrations and hands-on instruction to help students understand and apply different art techniques
Encourage and support students in exploring their creativity and developing their own unique style
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills and overcome challenges
Manage classroom dynamics and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Organize and maintain art supplies and equipment, and ensure a safe and clean classroom environment
Collaborate with other art instructors and staff to plan and coordinate special events and exhibitions
Stay updated on current trends and developments in the art world, and incorporate them into lesson plans and curriculum
Communicate with parents and caregivers about students' progress and provide recommendations for further development

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an art instructor for students of all ages
Strong knowledge and proficiency in various art techniques and mediums
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for art and teaching, and ability to inspire and motivate students
Patient, creative, and adaptable to different learning styles and needs
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Must pass a background check and be eligible to work with minors
