Position: Career Counselor

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $65 Per hour

Overview: As a Career Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals navigate their career journey. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique skills, interests, and goals, and provide them with guidance and resources to help them achieve their career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual career counseling sessions to assess clients' strengths, interests, and goals
• Assist clients in developing career plans and exploring potential career paths
• Provide guidance and resources for job searching, resume building, and interview preparation
• Conduct workshops and seminars on career-related topics such as networking, personal branding, and career exploration
• Keep up-to-date with current job market trends and industry developments
• Collaborate with other career professionals to develop and implement career programs and events
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
• Stay informed of the latest counseling techniques and strategies to best support clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of years of experience in career counseling or related field
• Knowledge of career development theories, assessment tools, and job search strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and career counseling software
• Certification as a Career Counselor is preferred but not required
