Job Summary: As a Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the distribution process for our company. You will be in charge of managing the movement of goods from our warehouse to various retail outlets or customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement distribution strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure sufficient stock availability.
• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the distribution center, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Analyze distribution data and make recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of distribution goals with overall business objectives.
• Oversee the training and development of distribution staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in the distribution center.
• Prepare and present reports on distribution activities and performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor���s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution management role.
• Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing distribution strategies.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in using distribution management software.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in distribution.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Working Conditions: The Distribution Manager will work in a warehouse and office setting, with occasional travel to suppliers and logistics partners. The position may require working on weekends or outside of regular business hours to meet deadlines or handle emergencies.
