Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and gather data to identify public health issues and trends
Analyze and interpret data to inform the development of public health policies and programs
Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups, to develop and implement effective public health interventions
Provide expert guidance and support to decision-makers on public health issues
Develop and deliver presentations, trainings, and workshops to educate the public and raise awareness about public health issues
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of public health programs and policies
Identify and address health disparities and inequities within communities
Stay current with emerging public health trends, policies, and best practices
Contribute to the development of grant proposals and fundraising efforts to support public health initiatives
Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for public health projects
Mentor and supervise junior public health professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public health role, with a focus on program development, implementation, and evaluation
Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing public health interventions
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
In-depth knowledge of public health issues, policies, and best practices
Experience working with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups is highly desirable
Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the field of public health
