As the Emergency Response Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating emergency response plans and procedures in the event of a natural disaster, industrial accident, or other emergency situations. You will work closely with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as community organizations, to ensure a timely and effective response to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans and procedures
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that emergency response plans align with business operations
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace
• Train and educate employees on emergency procedures and protocols
• Establish and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as community organizations, to facilitate an effective response to emergencies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency response efforts and coordinate with all involved parties
• Monitor and evaluate emergency response plans and procedures, making necessary updates and improvements
• Participate in emergency drills and exercises to test and improve response capabilities
• Provide timely and accurate updates to management and other stakeholders during emergency situations
• Collaborate with the media and public relations team to provide accurate and consistent information to the public during emergencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor���s degree in emergency management, public administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency management and coordination
• Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal emergency response agencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
• Willingness to work irregular hours and be on call for emergency situations
