Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Policy Analyst to join our team. As an Education Policy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and shaping education policies that will have a significant impact on our organization and the education system as a whole. This position requires a deep understanding of education policy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on current and proposed education policies at the local, state, and national levels
• Identify trends and patterns in education data and use this information to inform policy recommendations
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for advocating for education policies that align with our organization's goals
• Monitor and track legislation and regulations related to education policy and provide updates and recommendations to internal teams
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, educators, and community leaders, to stay informed on the latest developments in education policy
• Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations to communicate policy analyses and recommendations to various audiences, including senior leadership, external partners, and the general public
• Participate in meetings and conferences to represent our organization and provide expertise on education policy issues
• Stay up-to-date on research and best practices in education policy and use this knowledge to inform policy recommendations and strategies

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in education policy, public policy, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in education policy analysis or a related field
• Extensive knowledge of education policy and trends at the local, state, and national levels
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to various audiences
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Passion for improving the education system and making a positive impact on students' lives
