Salary: $190000 - $240000

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Streaming Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Streaming Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our company's data strategy by managing the flow of real-time data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy and reliability. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data streaming processes, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about data and has a strong background in data streaming technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement data streaming processes to collect, process, and store real-time data from various sources.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data streaming pipelines to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and integrate new data sources into our streaming platform.
• Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to optimize data streaming performance and support their data analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Create and maintain documentation of data streaming processes, data pipelines, and data sources.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data streaming technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations to improve our data streaming capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data streaming or data engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Amazon Kinesis.
• Experience with cloud-based data streaming platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficient in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Java.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Luigi is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
