As a Cloud Governance Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to organizations as they navigate the complexities of cloud adoption and management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud governance policies and procedures that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments of current cloud environments, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities, and making recommendations for improvement. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining governance frameworks, standards, and procedures, as well as training and educating stakeholders on cloud governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing cloud environments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement cloud governance policies and procedures that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Create and maintain governance frameworks, standards, and procedures for cloud adoption and management
• Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on cloud governance best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve any governance-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and make recommendations for improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on cloud governance initiatives
• Provide training and education to stakeholders on cloud governance best practices
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of cloud governance policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvement as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on cloud governance
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of cloud governance best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Experience developing and implementing cloud governance policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certifications in cloud computing and governance are highly desirable
