Job Title: Automation Tester

Salary: $92 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to identify and report any bugs or issues in our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, programming, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using various automation tools and programming languages
• Identify, report, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking systems
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to the development team
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and testability
• Continuously improve and maintain automated test suites to cover new features and functionalities
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in automation testing
• Mentor and train other team members on automation testing techniques and tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in automation testing
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber
• Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
