Position: Performance Tester
Location: New York, New York, United States
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $152000 - $192000
Lobox is seeking a highly skilled Performance Tester to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Performance Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and scalability of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to design, execute, and analyze performance tests to identify and resolve any performance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop performance test strategies and plans based on project requirements
- Design and execute performance tests using industry-standard tools
- Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues
- Monitor and report on performance metrics to stakeholders
- Continuously research and implement new tools and techniques to improve performance testing processes
- Document and communicate performance testing processes and results to team members and stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations for improving performance
- Mentor and train junior performance testers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in performance testing
- Expertise in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or Gatling
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with performance testing web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Relevant certifications in performance testing is a plus.
